Shipwrecks are likely responsible for bringing rats to a number of the planet's remote islands. Over time, these creatures have a major impact on naturally existing species. As such, Pathfinder was elected to participate in partnership with Nature Conservancy in effort to diminish the rat population and restore the island’s original balance. Beginning on Rat Island in the Aleutian chain and continuing in the remote islands of the pacific, Pathfinder successfully provided aerial resources to support this project. It took months of logistics planning, labor and sheer determination. This project is continued proof that remote is our routine.
